Work Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Job Summary
The Day Program Instructor provides direct support and care to individuals in the Behavioral Day Program. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, implementing individualized programs and behavior plans, maintaining a supportive environment, and transporting individuals to community-based events. The instructor works closely with the program manager and the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized programs and behavior plans.
- Document activities, observations, and provide team updates.
- Maintain a safe and clean program environment.
- Collaborate effectively with staff, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Report concerns and incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with transportation to and from program activities.
- Participate in staff training and development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required: Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
- Preferred: Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges or disabilities.
- A Plus: Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
